See a Problem?
Morgenstern had written a boring royal history that William Goldman had abridged into a masterpiece. I realized my mistake. There was no Florin. But it was a rather depressing thought. Framing devices can be awkward, weak, but so many of us were fooled, or allowed ourselves to be fooled. Goldman was. Part of the brilliance of the framing is that Goldman never once wavered.
