Yes, I want to follow Jesus. I am a follower of Jesus. I still have questions. Historian Edwin Yamauchi calls attention to the most important reference to Jesus outside the New Testament. This proof comes from Tacitus, a Roman, who wrote that the Christians were responsible for the fire that destroyed Rome in A. He believed that Christ had died under extreme execution during the reign of Pontius Pilatus.

As for modern biographies and biographies that have been written throughout history ie the last years these are far too many to be listed. They run into tens of thousands. The Gospel stories ie documents outlining the life, teachings, sayings and so on of Jesus, although not necessarily in strict chronological order the four gospels and Acts, plus numerous non-canonical gospels and several references in the writings of secular contemporary historians. Mark, the first Gospel, is likely to have been written by John Mark a leader in the early Church and a companion of Jesus almost certainly a member of the '72'. Matthew is likely to have been written by Matthew the apostle, or under his authority. Luke was the only gospel to have been written by someone who never met Jesus. In his two books the second one being Acts he makes it clear that, as a learned doctor, he was commissioned by a patron, Theophilus, to compile a systematic and complete account of Jesus' life and the early Church.

Jesus is somebody nobody can ignore! If there is any person worth learning more about it is Jesus! If you want to know more about Jesus and Christianity, then read about His life and teachings in the Bible, you can also talk to Him in prayer, and meeting other followers of Jesus will help you on your journey. Most simply put, Christianity is about loving God our Creator with all our heart, soul, mind and body, and loving other people in the same way Jesus Christ has loved each of us. Our Creator loves us so much, He came to earth as a flesh and blood person called Jesus. He came to us so we could come to Him. Sinful disobedience to God had broken mankind's relationship with Him.

The lead tablets held together like a ring binder were found in Jordan in around and make reference to Christ and his disciples. An ancient set of books thought to be the oldest written reference to Jesus Christ have been proven genuine, say experts. The metal has been analysed and the words and symbols translated and experts say the tablets are almost 2, years old. The tablets suggest that Christ was not starting his own religion, but restoring a thousand year old tradition from the time of King David. One of the books bears a resemblance to how the Book of Revelation is described as it has seven seals. Authors David and Jennifer Elkington have been campaigning since for the codices to be recognised and protected.

I don't think anyone ever counted accurately how many, that would books and ancient Gospels were written about Jesus, of which only a fraction survived. Germany, that's less than half the Bilbiographic amount on Christ.
