I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. Poet's Notes about The Poem
Being or feeling alone is one of the saddest places to be. You can have all the money in the world but if you don't have anyone to share it with, you have nothing. In today's world, we tend to spread out and live more isolated lifestyles. In some ways this is a luxury.
Prev Poem. Next Poem. I look into a broken mirror, I seek to see why I am still living. I feel empty and broken, I feel like a monster is trying to escape. I don't know which way to go I am crying but only dry tears, dust on my face and sores on my mind, I do not speak nor do I try, I have a million times. I am invisible, no one can see, I have pain inside, please let me free.
