10 Things We Love About Christmas
W e may complain about Christmas — the cliches, the pressures, the commercialisation, the enforced Christian messages and the ruinous expense. But there is so much to love. As if I need to tell you, here are 50 reasons to love this time of year. As a grownup with a hatred of stamps, envelopes and my own handwriting, I am touched to the point of tearfulness whenever anyone manages to remember my address and post their seasonal good wishes. Ok, so we know that's not exactly how it goes, but we couldn't help it. And we want to share this love of Christmas with you. We know Christmas shouldn't be about presents, but we'd be lying if we said we didn't like getting them. There are so many things we're looking forward to eating, we've already cleared shelves in our local pharmacy right out of Gaviscon in preparation. But before we reach bursting point, here's what we hope we can fit in:. We've been good all year for this guy. And we still leave him mince pies and brandy and everything.
